Our final show in Germany promised much today as we hear it's another sellout in the fabulous Koln arena, the largest indoor venue of this type in Germany. It's the first time we've played in Koln and not stayed in town, we've been hubbing from Brussels and the fabulous Amigo hotel in the city centre. We arrived at the venue at the usual time only to learn of a slight delay caused by rush hour traffic delaying the trucks. I spoke with David Dean, one of the truck drivers and he explained his frustration at this.

The latest 'behind the scenes' film.. The Band Drivers now in HD widescreen (not YouTube)

Dominika (Bernie's girlfriend) waves goodbye in Brussels and below, Johnny explains the incredible daily rigging process in the next film.

So, a brief soundcheck, a quick bite in catering and then I grabbed Danny to interview Johnny 'hotpants' Ashton, our rigger for the next behind the scenes film.

The show was absolutely fantastic, a great audience (all 12,200 of them) fab sound, great atmosphere, great performances from the band...all in all one of our best shows I think. we've really enjoyed Germany this time out and look forward to coming back soon.

The after show flight back to Brussels involved a bit of thunderstorm avoidance...safely back in the hotel bar by midnight to enjoy a couple of draught Leffe blonde beers.
