It's always a delight coming to the beautiful Griffith Park is the site of one of the nicest venues to play on any tour, but tonight we had the added excitement of the possibility that John McCusker would make the show.

He stepped of the plane from Heathrow at 6:30 PM and was whisked to the venue as fast as possible. No chance of making the sound-check, or the meet and greet and we were prepared for him not making the show as well. Luckily he didn't suffer too badly with the traffic and showed up albeit a little spaced-out backstage about 30 minutes before show time.

On we went then at 8:50 precisely to what in my mind was one of the most enjoyable shows in ages..at least since yesterday. With a very strict curfew of 11:00PM we were mindful of the set going over time but we managed to get it just about right and finished with four minutes to spare. A wonderful sounding stage, delightful balmy evening, the fabulous LA crowd who seemed enchanted with the show and the full seven piece line-up all contributed to a great evening.
