Our second visit to Wolf Trap wasn't quite blessed with the lovely weather we experienced in 2005 when we played in balmy summer weather. Today was a case of dodging thunderstorms and rain on the way down here. Our first 'hubbed' show out of New York and we were held at Teeterborough airport in New Jersey for weather and when we finally got going it was a short hop down to Dulles airport which is only a few miles from the gig.

Wolf Trap is one of the nicest shed-type venues and apart from the union-imposed dark stages it's pretty much the perfect place to play. Since the East coast is experiencing some very hot weather, the temperature onstage was pretty unbearable during the day. Thankfully during the evening it cooled down nicely and the show was fantastic as the sound seemed to be perfect.

This is Bob Reinhardt with Mark. Bob came down to the gig to show Mark another amp. It looked to me as though Mark loved it.

Another visitor today was Gordon Roberts, our old friend who introduced us to Eastman guitars. Gordon is now associated with Flaxwood and presented Richard with an electric guitar.
