Production Rehearsals - Bray film studios

As you'd imagine, production rehearsals exist to test the entire production including lights and PA before we set off on the road. As much as I'd love to I can't show the shots I've taken this week of the lighting rig. It's beautiful. Once we've done a few shows I'll put them up here.

Being the last step before unleashing the production onto the innocent public, an air of anticipation always accompanies a visit to Bray Studios birthplace of many a great film or TV series. As I went to school not 5 miles from here, I remember rehearsing here with one of my first bands, in the small Bray recording studio n the lot and taking a fag break one rainy afternoon only to stumble upon one of the models actually fresh from being used in the filming of 'Alien' back in 1978. It was the alien model head with rows and rows of teeth attached to an intricate pully system hanging out the rear for an operator. The rather stately hotel we stayed at across the road is where the St. Trinians film were made along with the Rocky Horror Show, Half a Sixpence starring Tommy Steele, Murder by Death starring Peter Sellers and perhaps most famous of all were the Hammer Horror productions, notably Dracula. When the Dracula films were made at Oakley Court directors obtained an eerie effect by using candles to light the entire Court.

Danny's new DW hardware needs to be sturdy.

The magnificent Mr. Worf tunes his mighty instrument before our final run-through of the set.

caption here could be "stage left is LOUD Richard" screams Glenn as both he and Matt take a brief excursion across stage to check Richard's amp-hum.

Laurence Adams, Glenn Saggers and Pete Mackay having a giggle.

Pink picks? What can this possibly signify?
