Events today were very similar to yesterday with a few exceptions. No headache, no flight issues and a slightly longer flight this time to Minneapolis.

We landed and taxied to the waiting town car and two black suv's. Mark Danny and I usually take the town car and I thought I recognized the driver from two years ago. I asked her for confirmation of this and sure enough she did. I remember because we all found her accent amusing and kept asking Lucretia to say certain words in her born'n'bred Minneapolis tongue. 'No' was one of them. Hilarious.

It's Pete Mackay's birthday today...Happy Birthday Peter

She drove us impeccably to the venue, or at least what I thought was the venue. We normally play the Orpheum but Lucretia drove on by and took the next right into the slightly smaller State theatre. This is definitely one of the smaller rooms of the tour but no less atmospheric I'm sure.

The show had a bit of a Sunday night feel to it and the 6th show in a row meant there were a few tired boys around the place, we all played great though and really enjoyed the warmth of the Minneapolis crowd.

Matty..

a quiet dressing room

Some of Glenn's friends came to the gig bearing gifts of Leinenkugel's classic amber ales and some local sausage, cheeses and an extraordinary horseradish dressing. On top of a chilli con carne which Diana had prepared, we managed to make a dent in the gift package on the plane on the flight home and as it's a day off tomorrow, I think most of us ate far too much.

It doesn't look that appealing but believe me, it was awesome.
