up over Lake Garda on route to Zurich
Ah yes, I remember the Hallenstadion. I think we played here on the STP tour and certainly before that many times too. Of course it's almost unrecognisable as it has been completely re-furbished since then and very nice it is too. with one noteable exception. It used to sound good. Unfortunately the roof seems to have been raised so when we got up on stage for sound check, the reverb in the hall was very loud. But in actual fact during the show itself, the sound was fantastic. This was complimented by a wonderful crowd. I always recall the Swiss being eager to stand up and they did as soon as they were allowed. Great, enjoyable show even if it was a bit chilly in Zurich. Runner back to the plane and we return to Verona for the next show. A quick Gin or two in Mark's room and a few giggles and off to bed.

Quick Fletch gear check. L-R Hammond B3, Nord Lead 2 synth, Korg SG1D ancient piano/controller, trusty Korg Trinity, in the rack - sycologic midi switcher, Roland 2050, Emu4 x2, Akai S1100, MPC2000, Yamaha 01V.
