Vienna - Stadhalle - April 12th

When we flew out of Munich yesterday, we crossed paths with Roman Abramovich arriving for the big game in his private 767!

This is our nose.

Great show last night (it's wednesday now, day off) Couldn't write anything as I was too drunk to say 'bread'. We came back to the hotel in Vienna after-show, watched the second half of the Chelsea match against Bayern. we went to Mark's room for several cleansing G&T's. He generally has quite a sizeable room because the hotels like to impress the boss by throwing him in a suite, Mark doesn't request this, infact he's always on about how he wants the same size rooms as the rest of the band. Funny that, we're always saying we'd like the same size room as him! I spent the evening taking requests and downloading music on iTunes. We had a bit of a Helen Shapiro tribute as well as Rolf Harris and 'Sun arise'. We also had some Lonnie Donegan, the Troggs, Queens of the Stone age, John Barry orchestra and the searchers. Incidentally, I downloaded Needles and Pins... it actually specified it was the original version. It wasn't. what a con! I want my 79p back Apple!

the great pile of sandwiches which is prepared during the show for Danny's after-show snack. Actually, it's for the load-out crew

The office fax machine, Casbah wi-fi and walkie talkie flight case which travels with us.

This is David Wright our Production Manager.
David's job is basically to co-ordinate the entire production in terms of logistically making it all happen. He does this with apparent consummate ease I might add.

a shot of today's particularly tea-staned day sheet. Ironically, as I write this, tomorrow's day sheet slides silently underneath my hotel room door, courtesy of Steve Rayment, assistant tour manager.

An onstage conference takes place each night
