Christchurch - Westpac Theatre - March 21st

It's quite incredible how quickly the last show of this leg of the tour has come. Tonight's show in Christchurch was probably our best to date. Despite working with the restrictions of a hall designed with minimal acoustic consideration, the heroic efforts of our crew meant the sound in the room was by all accounts, pretty damn good. Once again, the in-ears were a pleasure.

From the point of view of the band, the show was a great way to finish off this leg of the tour.

I take the Hammond while Matt dons the Baldoni in Brothers in arms tonight
I'll be doing this from my side of the stage on the next leg of the tour as I'll be employing a second B3

as you can see, it's impossible to get lost backstage

Homeward bound now for a quick 10 day break and onward to Lisbon and the European leg of the tour......

a view from stage right on the floor showing the arrays of power amps and the cool blue pre-show lights. Very low light levels here.

Paul Crockford and Steve Rayment (aka. the management) survey the dressing room pre-show.
