I have in the past dedicated a page or two to the trials and tribulations of promoting a record, here is a brief account of a day trip to Madrid 20/9/07. Mark was asked if he could perform an 'intimate' concert at the opening of a new club, the Chivas studio, sponsored by the whisky brand Chivas Regal. It was with trepidation that it was agreed since the stage area was 'challengingly' small but it was a way by which we could come over to Madrid and allow Mark to do some interviews for the Spanish media etc. In the event, it turned out to be a great little show. Unfortunately with very few tickets available to fans and the rest of the 150 entrants being sponsors guests etc. it was a little different to the usual MK promo. Nevertheless we had fun and the evolution of our little one hour set continued with the highlight of the evening being an eccentric version of 'Postcards from Paraguay'.
