Here's a pic which says a lot. (L-R Danny Sweeny, me and Ron Eve) Danny was the man who taught us (myself and Alan Clark) to windsurf. We were pictured here outside a club in the (sadly now destroyed) town of Plymouth on the beautiful island of Montserrat in 1983. Ron was Mark's guitar tech at that time, we enjoyed many great moments together...hi Ron.

There were some remarkable stories from the time we recorded 'Brothers in Arms', including the 'voyage to Redondo', a round-trip Alan, Danny and myself made to an uninhabited island 15 miles off the coast of Montserrat on windsurfers back in the days before harnesses! The Montserrat museum actually put a small plaque in our honour as no-one had attempted/achieved this feat
