31st May 2006 - Spektrum - Oslo

This was the first three cities in one day days. Waking in Stockholm in the rain, breakfasting and checking out at quite a reasonable hour we hop onboard the jet for Oslo. The usual, soup'n'soundcheck but today we were all focusing on our in-ear mixes due to the uncertain show the night before. Fabulous show tonight, great crowd, great stage sound and the band really relaxed. Certain tunes were as good as they've been including I thought all the road running.
A 40 minute runner to the plane and a two and a half hour flight to Verona, not entirely as planned as we originally intended to fly into Naples to do a TV promo on the 1st but the airport kept giving us the run-around. To cut a long story short we were told we couldn't land there hence our diversion. I'm not entirely unhappy about that except we have to fly in and out of Naples on our day off now, not exactly a hardship in the Embraer.

I'm off for the finest coffee known to mankind with brothers Danny and Mark.......
