7th June - Pesaro - BPA Palace

A short hop today from Rome due North to Rimini airport on the Adriatic coast. Then a 30 minute drive South to Pesaro and the slightly sci-fi looking Adriatic Arena.

Our first visit to Pesaro and our first show of the tour without a sound check, of course everything sounded great as we took to the stage thanks to our amazing crew who despite extreme tiredness, consistently come up with the goods.. As you can see from the pic above, the entire rig was what we call 'ground support', meaning that nothing is hung from the roof. Watch out for more detailed explanation of this in the upcoming behind the scenes video diary production 'Above the Stage'. Another great show and another great crowd only slightly blighted by the number of people who still insist on filming during the show despite the warnings pre-show and comments from Mark during the show. It's incredible really, I honestly think they don't think we can see them. The thing is, we can, and so can our security team who then locate and eject. Once again, please respect...thanks.
